Before the build
I came across Campervan Explorers on Quirky Campers website as a recommended converter. I got in touch via Instagram and Ioan was quick to respond and set up an initial meeting to talk through my ideas. There were many and I wasn’t sure what was even possible; by the end of the 2 hours with Ioan’s time and knowledge it was much more clear with what was going to be achievable.
I then changed my mind to buy a van already converted due to not wanting to wait another 3 months for the conversion process. Ioan was understanding about this, despite the time initially invested.  I then changed my mind again and went back to wanting a new conversion after being unable to find a van exactly how I wanted it. So, I went back to Ioan who flexed his working schedule to allow him to start work on my van right away.

During the build
The same day the van arrived at Ioan’s I had pictures sent through of the work being commenced. I was amazed! Everything that I proposed throughout the build process was actioned - I even joke that Ioan is a ‘’yes’’ man as nothing seems to beyond his capabilities in building vans. If it couldn’t be done the exact way I wanted it for logistical reasons there was always a solution found to make it as close to it as possible. Ioan kept in close contact with me throughout the build- sending regular updates and giving up time for me to view the van during the build process. He was also very accommodating when my ideas changed - being flexible again to make it all possible.
I have been in many vans throughout my time and I have to say there are so many well thought out ideas in mine with thanks to Ioan’s expertise that make mine so much more hospitable and user friendly.

On the day of collection he spent hours with me going through exactly how things worked and allowing me to get used to things.

After the build
As with anything new there is always some teething issues. These have been very few but when they have arisen Ioan has been on hand to help with any of my questions at all hours. I am very grateful for the perfect van (also my full time home on wheels) that he has created for me.
